Pam ‘Y Fuwch Goch’?
Wel, sefydlwyd tafarn o’r enw Y Fuwch Goch ar union yr un safle nôl yn y ddeunawfed ganrif, a chyfeiriwyd hefyd at Stryd Womanby fel Lôn Y Fuwch Goch ar un adeg – mae paneli gwybodaeth yn y bar yn olrhain hanes y dafarn a’r cyffiniau.
Mae gan y bar newydd ddewis eang o ddiodydd o Gymru a thu hwnt, a detholiad o rai o winoedd orau’r byd yn ogystal â dwy sgrin fawr yn cynnig rhywle arbennig i wylio gemau chwaraeon.
Why ‘Y Fuwch Goch / The Red Cow?’
Well, a pub by the name of The Red Cow was established on the same site back in the eighteenth century, and Womanby Street was also known as Red Cow Lane at one stage – there are information panels at the bar which outline the history of the inn and the surrounding areas.
The new bar has a wide variety of drinks from Wales and the world, and a selection of some of the finest wines from around the world, as well as two large screens which offer somewhere special to catch the big games.
